2nd Saudi Maritime Forum (SMF)

Following the great success of the first Saudi International Ports & Maritime Transport forum, which was held in Jeddah in March 2008, the second forum, the Saudi Maritime Forum (SMF) will be held from October 25-27, 2009 at the same prestigious Jeddah Hilton Hotel.
SMF discusses the development strategies of ports and transport in Saudi Arabia and the region and offers applicable solutions to the challenges confronting ports and transport on both strategic and operational levels, taking stock of the industry’s global dynamics.
The main topics of the 2009 SMF include:

SMF offers a great networking opportunity. Industry leaders and decision makers, as well as trade executives and professionals, will get together again in Jeddah from 1st to 3rd of November, 2009 to exchange views and experiences, and to explore new business opportunities, taking advantage of the integrated trade exhibition which showcases leading shipping liners, logistics companies, freight forwarders, terminal operators, and ports equipment and technology suppliers among others.
The Saudi Maritime Forum is organized and hosted by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Knight Group. The Forum is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Makkah Region. It is endorsed by the Saudi Ministry of Transport and the Saudi Ports Authority.
