Bahri presently owns a fleet of 17 VLCC. The company ranks among Top-10 VLCC owners.
LPG Sector: Bahri join hands with Petredec Limited by acquiring 30.3% share. Petredec is committed to increase its fleet, in both size and type, into the future. Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) will form an integral part of the company's operations and provide an increasingly flexible approach to the LPG industry.
Chemical Carriers: National Chemical Carriers "NCC" is a subsidiary of Bahri and SABIC in 80:20 partnership. NCC presently owns and operates 23 chemical tankers and in line with the strategic development plans and to further expand the operations, an additional 1 tanker, currently under construction, shall join the existing fleet during 2011-2013. This represents NCC to be among the leading chemical owners globally.
Bahri signed a contract with Hyundai MIPO to build 6 RoCon vessels, expected to be delivered during 2012-2014. These ships are specialized in carrying general, projects cargo and several types of RoRo cargoes and are equipped with heavy lift cranes; and each ship with a dwt of approx. 26,000 tons.
Bahri placed an order to build (5) Dry-Bulk Carriers expected to be delivered during 2013-2014.
Bahri's presently owns 17 VLCCs, 23 Chemical carriers and 4 RoRo ships. The fleet is expected to grow to 56 vessels by 2014.
