Liner Service was the sole operation of the company upon its establishment in 1979. Bahri is exclusive Saudi Arabian carrier with links to both the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. This sector played a vital role during 1991 Gulf War by providing military equipment transportation and logistical support.
Bahri presently offers Liner Service by operating four fully owned multi-purpose vessels capable of carrying RoRo / Conventional / Container cargo in the Arabian gulf - Indian sub-continent / Red Sea / Mediterranean / US-Canada (East Coast) / US (Gulf) trade route on a regular schedule. The versatility of the vessels makes them highly suited for serving the trade, catering to RoRo, Break-Bulk, projects, Military and containerized cargoes
In 1991, Bahri (America) Inc was established to serve as the General Agent in North America for the Liner Service followed by Bahri (Mumbai) Liaison office in India during the year 2001
Bahri foresees continuous demand for specialized combination vessels because of expanding industrialization and infrastructure development in all lanes of operations, but particularly in the Middle East.
