Bahri Logistics

The first and currently one of six business units within Bahri, Bahri Logistics is one of the top 10 breakbulk carriers in the world. Bahri Logistics operates 6 new state-of-the-art multipurpose vessels with 26,000 DWT each on a regular liner schedule; 4 vessels connect the United States to Saudi Arabia and major ports in the Gulf, Indian Subcontinent and the Mediterranean, and 2 vessels connect Europe to Saudi Arabia and key ports in the Gulf and the Mediterranean.

With more than 38 years of heritage, Bahri Logistics has a novel approach to its focus on optimal cargo mix whilst specializing in "underdeck" storage capability. It is the leading direct full liner service provider from U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports and Canada to Jeddah, Dubai, Dammam and Mumbai, including way-port calls along the liner service route in the Mediterranean and Europe. It also operates two direct monthly services through the Red Sea and Gulf ports, independent yet complementing each other to provide greater frequency and service coverage, from the main Northern European ports of Tilbury, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Gdansk, offering connections to and from Scandinavia, and the Baltic .

Bahri Logistics’ multipurpose vessels with an average age of less than 4 years, are all uniquely designed to carry multiple types of cargo in a single voyage, including project, Ro/Ro, breakbulk (heavy-lift) and container cargoes.

The business unit serves global multinationals and various Saudi Government entities through long-term contracts, and is the exclusive logistics provider for both the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom, contracted for the next five years.

The business unit has also signed cooperative agreements with partner carriers such as Höegh Autoliners, Liberty Global Logistics and Rickmers-Linie, and has introduced full solution breakbulk capabilities, including door-to-door service.

Bahri Logistics also manages a container service yard facility at Jeddah Islamic Port in Saudi Arabia, and has invested in a new IT system to integrate ports, agents and offices to provide the best possible customer service.

Bahri Logistics has a comprehensive network of offices and agents throughout the globe, which provides a variety of services to its clients.
