Bahri confirms that the VLCC WEDYAN (IMO: 9524970) was involved in an incident while transiting outbound through the Strait of Hormuz on 7 July 2026.

We are pleased to confirm that all crew members and personnel on board are safe and accounted for, with no reported injuries. The vessel’s cargo remains secure, and the vessel remains in a seaworthy condition.

Bahri promptly informed all relevant authorities following the incident and continues to work closely with them and other maritime stakeholders. The Company also remains in continuous communication with the vessel’s crew while closely monitoring the situation.
